Music from the heavens fills the city of Otaru

  Today ，I will introduce a place for you, the Music Box 

Museum.

  At the end of Sakaemachi street ,you can see a historical 

red building .It was built in 1912 as the main office of one of 

the greatest grain and rice merchants in Hokkaido. Now, it is 

the Main Building of the Otaru Music Box Museum.

   So, you will enjoy a dreamy world created by more than 

25000 music boxes, including glass music boxes unique to 

Otaru. 
                       

I bought it for my mom  ：P

Oktoberfest in Otaru Soko No.1(Otaru beer house)

  In this hot days  we have the Oktoberfest in Otaru soko No.1 

where is a local beer factory in Otaru..

  Operation plan is from 11th Sep to 15th Sep.

  In those days  you can eat some German cuisines.

  Like Schweinshaxe (a roasted ham hock),  roasted mackerel

 and so on. Each of cuisines have good collocation with  Otaru 

Beer.


In Oktoberfest, we provide the special Germany beer named 

"Fest beer".

   We not only have beer and delicacies, and we invited 

『Edertaler Spitzbuben』 who is very famous

band in Germany.They will do the Live  at the canal cruise and

Otaru beer house.

The deputy prime minister of Thailand has visited Otaru.

Hello.

The deputy prime minister of Thailand Mr. Phongthep Thepkanjana and the party have visited Otaru on 24th August.

  

Mr. Nakamatsu, the Mayor of Otaru city and Mrs. Taniguchi the president gave a warm welcome to Mr. Phongthep at the Canal plaza.

 

 

We introduced them about Otaru, Shiribeshi, and indigenous products here.

They went back to Thailand from the New Chitose Airport on 24th.

 

The number of service of dilect flight between Bang kok and New Chitose Airport will be increased from October.

We're looking forward to seeing you here in Otaru :)
