About "Otaru Ushio Festival"

"Otaru Ushio Festival" is Otaru's biggest summer event.

It is held on the last weekend of July every year.

The festival started as an opportunity to hand down the history 

and culture of Otaru to the next generation and 

pray for the development of Otaru and the  appreciation of the sea.
