Opened in the spring of 2026, Otaru Port Square is an open public space located at the base of Pier No. 3 in the Port of Otaru, offering clear views of the sea. Designed as a versatile plaza for local events, sightseeing stopovers, and everyday relaxation, it has quickly become a fresh new waterfront attraction.

The Container Village at Otaru Port Square is home to four unique food and beverage spots along the harbor:

Autumn Foliage has Begun in Otaru!

Temiya Park is famous for its cherry blossoms in spring, but its autumn foliage is equally breathtaking. Our tourist information centre staff recently visited the park and took some lovely photos, so we'd love to share them with you!
