Japanese Rowan

Japanese rowan are often planted as roadside trees and park trees in Hokkaido because the autumn leaves and rowanberries that are dyed red are beautiful. 

The rowanberry is Spherical and 5-6 mm in diameter red fruit.

The red fruits of winter are an important feast for birds.

Three new spots of Otaru Tenguyama has appeared since this spring.

1.Otaru Photo Frame

It is one of the five Otaru Photo Frames that was newly established this year.

2.TENGUU TERRACE

How about having a tea time to enjoy the magnificent view?

3.Manten Stage(3rd observation deck)

It is the observatory on the Sapporo side that was revamped this spring.

When we arrived at the mountain foot station, it started to rain. 

If it was sunny, the scenery would have been more beautiful...
